1) Warlord Saga of the Storm (CCG) : Dominance :

Notes :

This expansion doesn't not really own a specific theme, a history line, a little bit like Betrayal. With this expansion, the game has reach an another point: high level cards and the problems of them with the total environment of game. In fact, the game has evolved and the cards with the time becomes to be too powerful and Dominace owns some really powerful cards. So this expansion was a little earthquake for the game. The only solution was to create some more tournaments restrictions (banned, restricted, etc).

That was decide for the next expansion Southern Kingdoms with the ''bug'' symbol.

-"Kratchling" is a trait that appear only in Dominance and was used on two cards ("Brown Kratchling" and "Green Kratchling").

2) Warlord Saga of the Storm (CCG) : Betrayal :

Notes :

With the Betrayal expansion, we seen the first apparition of a new type of characters cards, named as the Traitors. As for example, we can notify; '' Mason Tallow'' for the Nothrog or '' Ramah the Cruel'' for the Deverenians. In fact, each faction as his own traitor in Betrayal. Thoses kinds of cards gives you some bonuses like drawing cards, reducing wounds etc... but you must applicate a another malus instead to have the benefit of the rules text card. Betrayal introduce some new mechanics with more interactions on your own deck.

3) Warlord Saga of the Storm (CCG) : Call to Arms (Power and Glory) :

*Release date : February 24, 2003 (create by players themselves).

Due to the numbers of cards of the set it was decided to split it in two differents Boosters Box.

*Era : SAGA.

-The "Power" B.B. :

-contains mainly some new necromantics and illusions spells for your wizards, it contains also some new weapons for your Rogues characters.

-The ''Glory'' B.B. :

-contains some new weapons and fighting technics cards for your Fighters characters, and some cards for your clerics. The Classless characters type cards were present for them in the two boxes.

-Numbered card collection : 1 to 150 for the "Power" B.B. / Numbered 151 to 300 for the "Glory" B.B. .

*Notes :

-After the big success of the "Nest of Vipers" and "Siege" Expansions, AEG woulded to be sure to take ''the good way'', so the idea was to offer to the players the opportunity to create the expansion themselves. So AEG has opened a massive submissions cards to the players for the release of this set.

A lot of cards ideas was submitted and after some months of patience, 300 cards was selected and kepted. Some others cards were printed later for some next expansion.

That's why you can find sometimes the presence of the creator name also for them on the same card place. So every card printed in Call to Arms owns the name of the person who submitted the card idea. This is notify usually on the left side of the card. The illustrator's name of course, always on the right side above the ''bug'' symbol.

4) Warlord Saga of the Storm (CCG) : Siege :

Notes :

After the Nest of Vipers expansion, it was the time to explore some other themes. The Siege main theme as described is based on city sieges. A lot of Mercenary cards are now a type of Mercenary - Siege with differents possibilities. We see now Castle, gates, walls cards based on defense and cards against those types of defenses, it could be mecanic attacks or special actions cards. 

5) Warlord Saga of the Storm (CCG) : Nest of Vipers :

*Notes :

In NoV multiclass theme were launched. With this expansion, a character could be now from various muticlass, same thing for some card items and actions of course. With the Multiclass cards, a nex terms has appear : Feats (Feats are special skills the character is trained in ("stealth" afa).

Thoses Feats are described in the rulebook joint with the Starter deck.

Other Notes :

Feats are ability that give characters special skill-based actions they can perform. When a Feat is activated, the character makes a Skill check with a D20, adding to the roll his or her skill and any bonus they may have. For instance, a character with Riposte +5 and a Skill of 3 would add 8 to the roll, needing a 12 to be successful.

6) Warlord Saga of the Storm : Tooth and Claw :

Tooth and Claw was based mainly on some Monsters troups. Some Monsters for your army or of course and some items or actions cards against them. Some new characters traits were intoduced in this expansion as the Astral and Ethereal. Since the 4E Edition thoses specific traits were replaced by the terms "Planar" for them both.

Other Notes :

The small rules book explains those terms like that : ''The positive and negative energies surrounding characters from the Astral and Ethereal planes of existence make striking them in combat an extremely difficult proposition. When targeting an Ethereal character with a melee strike or ranged strike, an odd die roll (before any bonuses or adjustments to the die) is a miss, even if the attack total is equal or higher than the targets AC (ARMOR CLASS). Similarly, when targeting an Astral character with a melee strike or ranged strike, an even die roll is a miss (including a 20), but in addition a natural roll of 19 is automatically a hit (like a roll of 20 against a non-Astral character). Strikes created by spells ignore these rules and hit characters normally. If a character ever has both the Astral and Ethereal traits simultaneously, the opposing energies kill the character instantly ''.

This characteristic is often explain on the right of the Trait with the following words : 'even strikes miss '.

-The Black Knives Edition were a type of second edition without to be one. Due to the out of Print previous expansions, AEG has decided, due to the succes of the game, to reprint most of them in a Reprint type Edition. The cards reprinted were issued from the first Edition Warlord Saga of the Storm base set, the "Good and Evil" expansion and "Assassin's Strike" expansion.

Some of the rare cards issued from the Warlord Saga of the Storm were printed as foil ones for the first time.. and the last time for some of them.

The First edition of Warlord doesn't own some foils cards.

8) Warlord Saga of the Storm (CCG) : Good and Evil :

As the title of the expansion said, the main theme from this set was the Good and the Evil Characters.

So it was the time of a new introduction Keyword: The Alignement.

This aligment of a character could be good (White color icon) or bad (black color icon). Thoses two types of characters are of course in conflict against each others, that's the main theme of this expansion. Some new subclasses appear in the game, mainly due to this kind of duality. So Lycanthrope, Paladin, Lich and other good or bad things on your side or... against you.

According to this new types of cards, some items and actions were created to be in symbiosis with this new brand duality in the game.

9) Warlord Saga of the Storm (CCG) : Assassin's Strike :

-According to his base set Warlord Saga of the Storm, this first expansion grows the possibility of the game with a new panel of classes, mainly the Bard one and the Paladin. Of course with his 109 new cards, a large panel of new items, actions has been added to the game possibilities growing is possibilities in various tacticals direction.

-A Book of short stories "Tales of the Assassin's Strike" was published by AEG in July 2002 to put some more life in the game. (Only in English - 206 Pages - Paperback ISBN 13 : 978-1887953528 - Out of Print)
